Coating Thickness Gauge
TIME Testing Instruments offers a wide range of digital coating thickness gauges for non-destructive dry film thickness (DFT) measurement. Both ferrous and non-ferrous type available. Ferrous thickness gauge adopts magnetic induction method to measure the thickness of non-magnetic materials (e.g. paint, plastic, porcelain enamel, copper, zinc, aluminum, chrome) on magnetic substrates (e.g. iron, nickel). TIME®2500 and TIME®2511 coating thickness gauge fall to this type. If you require really high accuracy, you can choose TIME®2605 with minimum resolution 0.1 μm and tolerance 1%. Non-ferrous coating thickness gauge uses eddy current principle to rapidly, nondestructively and precisely measure the thickness of insulating coatings on non-magnetic metallic base (enamel, rubber, paint and plastics coating on the substrate of copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.). TIME®2501 digital thickness gauge belongs to this type. If you are looking for a paint thickness gauge for both F and NF coating thickness measurement, we recommend TIME®2510 and TIME®2600.
TIME coating thickness gauges conform to the standards of DIN, ISO, ASTMBS and are extensively applied in manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industries and commodity inspection.
